Hello, parents. We can not only see the light at the end of the tunnel, we are basking in it! I wanted to thank you for all your support this year and to remind you of important last minute details.
Sunday's Baccalaureate Mass begins at 11 AM. The eighth graders will fill the first four pews on the right side and there is no assigned seating for parents. The students will arrive at school by 10:30 and go to the music room. They will wear their gowns (no caps) for this ceremony. Each individual group of students will also submit the flash drive containing their end of the year short film, to be shown at the picnic.
Monday evening is the Eighth Grade/Seventh Grade picnic, which will take place from 5:30 to 7 PM. The screenings of short films produced by eighth graders will commence around 7 PM.
The graduation ceremonies will begin at 7 PM, Wednesday, June 14. Students are to bring caps and gowns to school by 6:25 PM. There will be assigned seating for parents and families, with one pew designated for each student. The pews will bear labels--visible from the middle aisle--with each family's name. This year the boys will sit on the left side; the girls, on the right side.
There will be a reception/dance held after the graduation in the Parish Hall until 10 PM, following the graduation. All parents are invited, or they may choose to drop off their children and return for pick-up at 10 PM.
Thank you again, for a beautiful, productive year. I'm proud of this class and how far it's come.
Sincerely,
Richard Leonard
